Sunny 16 Rule Notes
We should learn the Sunny 16 Rule because it helps you improve on your pictures and it helps make you capture better images
Sunny 16 Rule
-The proper exposure is determined by the ISO of the film/sensor setting
- ISO 100
-For ISO 100, at mid day(10am-5pm) outdoors with sunlit mid-toned object, set aperture at F16, and the shutter speed at 1/ISO or 1/100th

Snow/Sand Dark with sharp edges F/22
Sunny Distinct F/16
Slight Overcast Soft around edges F/11
Overcast Barely Visible F/8
Heavy Overcast No Shadows F/5.6
Open Shade/Sunset No shadows F/4
Backlighting n/a Add one stop
